User Interface Design: Ibex glass : Research Phase

Before setting out to design ANYTHING, I look at similar work in the media. In this case, my client and I met to look at Art Glass sites.

Here is a site my client's work appears in. He liked the clean type and black background, as well as the very simple navigation. This site doesn't sell art works online; it is promotional only.

Guild.com is a leader in fine crafts online. This is a Level One screenshot of the Opening page of this e-commerce site. Though my site won't be database driven, I liked Guild.com's clean interface.

Usually, at least two levels of interface design must be mocked up before any coding is done.

Level two is a page a viewer sees when they click on a link..sometimes a content page, sometimes another level of navigation. Level three usually contains the content users are looking for, not just a navigation page.
