I studied for six weeks at The Clarion West Writer's Workshop for Fantasy and Science Fiction; Seattle, 1999.

I regualrly attend writer's conferences and participate in critique groups in the Seattle area .

Storytelling is an important piece of everything I do. As a child, I drew pictures to accompany stories. In my professional life, visual and verbal communication are always in support of each other.
